Meet Coach Sunday

Profile

* I began swimming at an early age and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the discipline, freedom, and focus the sport demands. Over time, swimming became more than a passion—it grew into a tool for resilience, growth, and leadership.

While studying law, I continued to train and compete, balancing academic rigor with my commitment to the sport. Through dedication and relentless practice, I became a strong competitor at both national and international levels, proudly representing the University of Ibadan at the Bilateral Games with the University of Ghana, the West African University Games, and other championships.

These experiences taught me structure, time management, and perseverance. Today, as a swimming instructor, I guide children, adults, and competitive athletes in their swimming journey. My goal is not only to teach strokes but also to instill confidence, discipline, and lifelong respect for the water. *

Coaching style

I believe swimming thrives on structure and clarity. Every swimmer is unique, and my role is to identify their strengths, address challenges, and create a training approach that ensures steady, lasting progress.

Patience, persistence, and respect for the process define my philosophy. By mastering fundamentals step by step, swimmers build the foundation to grow with confidence.

"Both swimming and life reward those who master the details, respect the rules, and persist with discipline."
